It is our pleasure to be associated with Torque Management Services and learn under
the guidance of Tsuda San. This experience has re - inforced that 5S, visual controls
and lean practices are simple to learn and effective when practiced. In a competitive
Industry like ours, reverting back to such basic & foundation initiatives is the
need of the hour. After guiding our team to effectively implement these practices,
we have noticed a positive change in our stores and warehouse management, especially
at Ashok Leyland - Alwar. The improvements have been steady & have come with sustained
efforts over the last 6 months. Our existing shopfloor practices have also been
re - organized with renewed vigor adopting lean principles. The visible improvements

Lucas - TVS has been availing the services of your organization for various manufacturing improvements in our Chennai and Uttarakhand Plants. The valuable inputs of Tsuda san in our 100% EOU Line at Padi and at Pant Nagar to improve shop floor 5S, Flow, Productivity, Material Control and FIFO system at Stores were laudable and have yielded good results. His observations and subsequent suggestions in identifying wastages in our processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness need mention. In February 2012, we entrusted PBO+ to initiate few developmental activities at Windsor - focusing on Process improvement, Human capability enhancement and incorporating a culture of 5S in the organization. These projects were initiated with a view to gear up the organization towards raising its bar and being prepared to face the challenges of the future.
The activity of 5S was initiated under the guidance of Mr. Tsuda and Mr. Samir Manna of Torque Management (Delhi), at both our plants in Gujarat in May 2012.
In the fast 5 months, we have seen major visible change in the plants in terms of Better housekeeping, proper layout and Effective utilisation of Precious space on the shop floor. This change has turned the mood positive and we have a pleasant ambience on the floor. There is a higher level of motivation amongst the employees. The methodology of adopting a "TOP DOWN" approach to the initiation of this activity has paid rich dividends.
Of course, we have just commenced the journey and the destination is miles away. However, we at Windsor are confident of covering the entire lap successfully under the guidance and support Mr. Tsuda and team.
